As a 14-year-old girl, I have a front row seat as my friends and I try to navigate the true meaning of beauty. We’re taught beauty comes from within, but this is not our reality once we turn on our phone. Scrolling through social media everyone looks so polished and perfect, as I’m popping my pimples. 

 

I’m a teen… not polished… not perfect… 

But, I am BeYOUtiful!  Society’s standard of beauty may be out of my control. But, there is one place I’m in complete control… my mind! 

 

I’m blessed to have parents that remind me daily I have control over my thoughts and feelings. I’ve been living the message that Being YOU is beYOUtiful. Now, it’s my turn to step into the role I’ve been raised to do!
